- Jenna Riedi graduated with her bachelor’s degree in history, religious studies and classical studies from the University of Wisconsin in 2006 and her master’s degree in nonprofit management from UW-Milwaukee in 2008. Jenna lives in Austin, TX, with her dog, Monty, and her cat, Loki, and also works in the animal welfare field. As the development director, Jenna oversees all the fund raising efforts for House of Blue Hope. She started working with House of Blue Hope in early 2009 and traveled to Dar es Salaam in August 2009 to visit the house and meet the boys. She was greatly touched by meeting the boys, finding them to be very kind and intelligent young men. She works hard to raise the funds to help them in their educational goals.
- A 2005 graduate of the same Loyola Secondary School that many of our boys attend today, David (Daudi) Mboma has been an integral part of House of Blue Hope’s continued success. While a student at university, Daudi and other Loyola alumni decided to give back to disadvantaged youths by joining forces with William Bludgus. Since that time Daudi has worked to guide the project while graduating with a degree in Information Technology. He currently lectures on a range of information technology topics at Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology while pursuing his graduate degree. He also consults for the Tanzanian government on technology projects such as sharing poll results for the 2010 elections. Daudi currently serves as Country Director for the project.
- Samwel Mkale is a graduate of Loyola Secondary School, the same school of many of the Blue Hope children in the program. He graduated with his degree in computer science from the Institute of Finance Management and is currently pursuing his masters degree of IT and Management. Samwel has been with Blue Hope since 2008 and currently serves as the project coordinator in Dar es Salaam.
- Sabas Hugoline is married with two children and has been with House of Blue Hope since mid-2010. His main focus is to follow the progress of the children in the program and ensure their proper care and education.

Patrick, Teacher
Meet Patrick Blue Hope’s recently hired after school teacher. Patrick comes from Sara Corbet school and will spend much of his time teaching the children English. Learning the English language is critical for all of the kids, schools teach in English and many jobs require it. Through Patrick’s work the children, who often come to us with very limited English, will have an opportunity to catch up to their classmates who have often been studying English for years.
