Strides for Kids, June 2011
It’s was our third annual charity walk and this year we moved it to Whitnall park. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the walk, food, raffle/silent auction, and fun! We were able to raise over $2000 that will go towards the care of all the amazing children in Blue Hope’s program.
2nd Annual Poker Tournament, June 2011
Our second annual poker tournament was held at the Center Court Pub and Grille on June 3, 2011. There were two full tables of contenders, but only one could win: congratulations to Mario Balistreri for winning the tournament! The tournament was able to raise over $600 and everyone had a great time – look for our third annual tournament next June!
Happy Hour at the Wicked Wolf Tavern, February 2011
On Friday, February 11th, the House of Blue Hope Foundation hosted a Happy Hour event in White Plains, New York at Wicked Wolf Tavern from 5:30pm to 7:30pm with 20 people attending and over $300 of proceeds. This was the first event hosted in the area, however the strong turn-out and enjoyable evening will likely lead us to host another event here in the Spring. A special thank you to Kate Sadowski and Tara Spector for organizing the event and to Wicked Wolf Tavern for being an excellent host. We look forward to seeing many of you at our next event, thanks again for the support!
Halloween Fund Raiser, October 2010
House of Blue Hope hosted a Halloween-inspired event at Wicker Park in New York on Thursday, October 28th from 8pm-11pm. With over 40 attendees and proceeds of $600, the event was a success. We appreciate all the hard work from our event coordinators Jen Krasowski and Kate Sadowski and a special thank you to our raffle sponsors:

Strides for Kids, June 2010
With amazing weather, around 50 people attended Strides for Kids 2010 and helped us raise over $3000. Special thanks to European Homemade Sausage for donating the food, Ex Fabula for hosting an event as our entertainment, and all the wonderful participants for coming and giving to House of Blue Hope!

Milwaukee Poker Tournament, April 2010
Blue Hope hosted a poker tournament on April 9 at the Center Court Pub & Grille at 1118 N. 4th St in Milwaukee, WI. Thank you to everyone who came out! Congratulations to our top three players, in order of placement: Andy Beversdorf, Adam Weise, and Mario Balistreri.
We were able to raise over $800. A special thank you to our sponsors, Center Court Pub & Grille, Prescott Miller Jewelers, Morningstar Golf Course, Milwaukee Bucks, and Rohr Jewelers.

March Goodness Competition, March 2010
Razoo hosted their annual March Goodness Tournament where a select group of nonprofits competed for grants based on fund raising through the Razoo network. Blue Hope was selected to compete and placed in the Big East bracket.
After two weeks of tough competition, Blue Hope was able to raise $1,870 through 84 donors and placed third in the competition! Blue Hope will receive a grant from Razoo for placing third. Thank you to all those who donated and those who also recruited others to give!
Mercury Bar, March 2010
On March 4th, Shenanigans for Charity hosted a happy hour benefiting the House of Blue Hope. The event was held at the Mercury Bar in New York, New York. Thanks to all those who came, Blue Hope raised over $500!
